Lawrence doesn't think does he. they're releasing the MCC. it's one game, it will start off with only reach, then they will update it to add each other game one by one. it's not a money grab to make you get gamepass
@Madrigal760 I think he more worried about everything turning into streaming and not having the ability to own a game as he previously stated in an earlier video.
@EliteSniperBravo Oh, I can understand that. but then again PC gamers already buy their games digitally so theres always the saying that they technically already dont own their games, at least physically they dont.
@Madrigal760 see what they are saying is that each time MCC gets updated it's another reason for a spike in purchases rather than people buying the second game, think about it like rainbow 6, every new season, there is an influx of new players and returning players making the longevity of the game increase. so if they add a new PC port to mcc every x months that's a lure for the players to come back and those who a reserved at first to eventually but it
Just some clarification, there's been no confirmation that MCC will be play anywhere(I think it probably will be for the Windows 10 store) which would mean that the PC audience won't get it through gamepass. There is no gamepass service for PC, so PC players can only use gamepass for Play Anywhere games. If MCC isn't Play Anywhere then PC players can't play MCC with gamepass. As far as I'm aware Microsoft hasn't retroactively made games Play Anywhere. For example, Gears Ultimate Edition was released on Xbox One and PC in 2015, before the Play Anywhere program. It still isn't Play Anywhere so even though its on Gamepass, PC players can't play it with Gamepass. However by that same thinking, Microsoft has also never released a PC port after the fact when Play Anywhere was a possibility so who knows.
Absolutely ecstatic for MCC coming to PC.
I was indeed one of those people that fell in love with Halo CE on pc when it came out (Blood Gulch all the time). Halo 2 was so bad when it came out and requiring Vista was the icing on the poo cake for it. I felt very left behind and neglected by Microsoft back then. I personally don't have an Xbox and even if I did I don't like playing shooters with a controller (just my preference).
So happy to see this come to PC that I will even wade through the crap to buy it on the Microsoft Store so that they get as much money from me as possible.
As a fan that was left behind, it will feel good to come back again. Also great job guys and girls, always a smile on my face with your daily's.
I'll be honest that I had 0 consideration for switching to Xbox next gen but that ability to shoot Steam over to the Xbox is veeerrrryyy tempting. Now it's an legitimate tough call until we see specs and lineups.
