I really want BioWare to be successful (My favourite game company) but they had six years to make this their best game yet. The amount of things they lied about is quite shocking, if you go back to their reveals and/or streams about Anthem you'll understand why a good amount of people (including me) aren't happy. I feel like I'm playing a demo or a F2P version if that makes sense, A shell of what it should be.👍😀 cheers if you read all this.
Bruce is right, Anthem has a great framework because the combat and basic mechanics are actually awesome but sadly the mission design is so utterly repetitive even into late game content, the end game content is neither difficult nor satisfying to beat, the game has numerous crashing problems and extremely long load times, and there is little javelin customization. Overall fun game but missing so many aspects.
@tubagrapher The basic looter-shooter mechanics yeah, very Destiny. Except for Destiny at least the end game content had a goal, i.e. beating the very difficult raid (very difficult obviously before getting raid gear). For Anthem, the "Strongholds" which were supposed to be the similar endgame content, you could beat them very easily and the difficulty only came from playing the strongholds on higher, well "difficulties." So it was just replaying the same 3 strongholds over and over hoping to get the higher level gear.
I think using MHW isn't a good ratio for estimating PC sales. Didn't MHW release on PC over half a year after the console release? I'd assume Anthem had a higher percentage on PC than MHW did because people weren't forced into buying console if they didn't want to.
