Such bullshit, they should face jail time. They never said they owned it till after they got caught. So they could manipulate all outcome basically steal people items and give them to friends for them to sell and make money or keep them to themselves be make cash.

nah, I don't really care that that's all they got. They probably knew what they were doing was exploitive and shady on some level, but I don't get the feeling that they knew just how bad or serious it was. Now they do. I seriously doubt they'll do it again after going through this mess. And now more people are aware of it as well, which I imagine is half the point.

Not every trial has to be some big punishment-fest. If the judge is satisfied that they learned their lesson, regret that they ever did it in the first place, and won't do it again, that's enough.
