SNES Mini SOLD OUT Already?

I REALLY want one of these! I have so many nostalgia feels about this system. As a little kid, I had the Atari, my parents couldn't get the NES when it came out, but they did buy me the SNES. I spent too many hours attached to it, being as terrible at games as I am. I only had a handful of games, and as I was getting closer to college (OMG, I am OLD!) I stopped so I could focus on studies. This would be such a fun way to relive those memories.

Also, I wish Nintendo would stop playing with our emotions and make enough of this stuff to go around. I still don't have a Switch yet. Ah well, I'm happy they're taking us on the nostalgia train, I just wish they had enough tickets for more of us to ride.

The fact that Nintendo is including the never-released StarFox 2 has my full interest and skepticism. The SNES classic is not worth the price for the one game imo, but I would kill for a full gameplay stream of it. Younger me would have only dreamed of even getting a glimpse of SF2 beta on the black corners of the internet, but now I bought the full game off of etsy (Is and/or seems to be a legit full-game, no idea how they got the codes/betas to a finished product). If Nintendo is pulling the codes from their own vault, I want to see the real game!

im the asshole that sees the appeal but would rather not stress over it by actively trying to get one and continue using my Raspberry Pi as my designated Emulator for all retro games

Maybe I'll just get my dad and stepmom and ACTUAL SNES for Christmas and try to get one of the 300 mini N64s next year for $120.

I'll bet my left nut that Raspberry Pi sales skyrocket in the near future.
