Far Cry 5 TOO CONTROVERSIAL?

I have no qualms killing crazy religious cults. I also dislike crazy militias, so I have no problem with this game. 

I'm white and I say... Meh

Its the 5th game in the series,

and hasnt focused hate on one group, but rather is spreading the malice around to different groups- this time around its a white american cult, Farcry6 will have yet another Target DeJour.

Everyone takes a turn at being the badguys, this time its White Zealots.

I just hope the NonBinaryGender folk dont complain when their turn comes up in Farcry 11 or 12

as someone who loves reading about cults, cereal killers and FBI shit, now i'm no expert but i'm sure any adult with a brain can tell the difference from a regular 'upstanding 'mostly white' militia group and and a fictional zealot/cult/white nationalist/separatists militia video game antagonist.. .. . anywho looks great! 

Important question, are they doing this because they have a good idea or to make headlines? We shall see. 

So none of them batted an eye when it was stereotypes of Pacific Islanders or South Asians, but God forbid they use stereotypes of American militias and religious fundamentalists.

Yeah, anyone who accuses this of racism or 'SJW forced progressive garbage', needs to shut up and play the last two games.

I'm from East Texas, most of my family are pipeline fitters, welders, and chemical plant operators. FC5 does not offend me at all. Just play the game! There's games like RE7 and Outlast 2 that had a strong portrayal of Southern/Midwest American life. Those games turned out just fine.

So where do I preorder the Far Cry 5/ Xbox 1 S bundle? I'ma gonna kill me some fictional characters in a video game.

Hell yeah, can't wait to gut me some 'muricans.

as a white dude i think white people need to get the fuck over themselves. I'd mow down fanatical christian white people in a video game any day.

Personally I don't care about it.  They can do what they want.  I'm pretty sure I'll still buy it.
