Yea, that part about "Destiny will be out this year regardless of what the devs want" isn't a good sign at all. Particularly considering that Destiny's main problem in general, (and particularly at launch), was a lack of things to do, or story. Neither of which are improved by rushing a game out the door....

That is why more and more "Triple A" games are pretty much getting released in beta. It is never a good idea to rush a game out. That is how you get games buried in a landfill.

So... Someone explain to me how you reboot a series that has about 4 or 5 concurrent continuities

whelp destiny 2 is going to be a disaster on launch, i bet there going to cut half the maps and recycle the same 4 missions for like 3 months until they put out a "dlc" for the rest of the game. 

"Infinite Warfare did not live up to expectations"... it lived exactly up to expectations, a heaping pile of shit, like it was expected to be based on how many dislikes it got from the trailer.
