Far Cry 5 STEALS Red Dead Redemption 2's Western Spotlight?

So do you guys just get your news from reddit? Could we get actual news, not speculation and rumors?

Ubisoft: Wait a year.  Give Red Dead time to cool down and folks to move on...I love the Far Cry series, but if I have to pick between the two of you for an at release purchase, I am going to get Red Dead Redemption 2 without a second thought.

I'll be buying both. 

red dead most likely, far cry? hard nope. i've been burned way too much by ubi. would rather jump back into COD.. 

I think Far Cry at first, as it will most likely be exclusively single player with maybe a few multiplayer modes, and then Red Dead once the hype dies down a bit. I find Rockstar games to be more predictable than Ubisoft (lol @ comparison tho), so just as personal preference I'll prefer the singular experience over the game itself at first, but spend more time with the Rockstar version of ~whatever comes out~. 

I'm going to say right now that if Rockstar decides to not release on PC for a year (like GTA) and Ubisoft does, it will help them out immensely. So honestly they better hope Rockstar pulls that dickhead maneuver again.
