2017
Next Season
Days Gone is also supposed to be coming out in 2018. I hope it does, but I'm not holding my breath. But I'm looking forward to it either way.
I'm excited to hear a lot of the smaller indie games people are looking forward to this year as well. Things like Darkest Dungeon sometimes come out and end up being one of my favourite games of a year, and I'm really looking forward to Vampyr, the Call of Cthulhu game, and Crossing Souls. I try not to get too excited about things too soon, but 2018 does look like it'll be a good year for games :)
I honestly have no idea why Days Gone has been so hyped. Obviously I hope it's good, but I don't know why everyone's going crazy for it. 2 years of hype and it has yet to impress me in the slightest. Hope everyone else enjoys it though.

I'll believe Kingdom Hearts 3 when I see Kingdom Hearts 3. Seriously, please in 2018. 2 came out on the PS2.
After the shit show that was Battlefront 2, I've lost all interest in Anthem. Despite the backlash received over MTX, and backpedalling done by EA, I highly doubt they'll change their stance on P2W MTX and will riddle Anthem with them. Even if its not P2W MTXs I could still see them just locking 90-95% of cosmetic content behind a lootbox paywall like Destiny 2 on top of paying for DLC expansions.
Bioware killed their story-based flagship franchise but continued development on their mcirotransaction mode. They're continuing the story in comics with a defined canon Ryder, something they've sworn to never do in the past. They crammed microtransactions into ME3 and Inquisition. It hurts to say, but Bioware's dead. I just hope EA has them on life support long enough to make DA2 and Jade Empire backwards compatible.
Spiderman is gonna knock it out of the Parker.
Well, I guess Kingdom hearts missed the opportunity to have a Ghibli world since Disney no longer has the rights...
Is the Last of Us 2 not coming out in 2018 anymore?
