Nintendo: There's Nothing Wrong with the Switch

Dang more expensive 3rd party games? Sounds like we're heading down the Wii U path of lack of 3rd party games... Although no one really goes to nintendo for third party anyways

I am so glad gus brought up the game price issues with the N64. I am 25 and I still remember all those damn price issues with the N64. I remember when i got Majoras Mask it cost me around 65$ although idk if that included tax. I absolutely remember talking about N64 prices and how they were ridiculous compared to dreamcast and ps1 prices. I knew it was going to be an issue with the new Wii Switch of theirs. I dont understands Nintendo, they presumably learned a lesson from the N64 when they switched to discs with the Game Cube, Wii, and Wii U. But for their Wii Switch they decide to go back to cartridge!?!?

I hope the whole blowing on your cartridge to make it work doesnt come back with the price issues. I know all of us older gamers talk about having to blow on our games in a....somewhat... nice light now. But back then its was frustrating as hell having to go through several routines just to get the game working. And of course everyone had their own opinion on how to correctly blow on a game cartridge. 

I'm a huge Zelda fan... but I'm also a college student. I'm wondering whether I should buy the switch now because I desperately want it and eat ramen for the next... year or so... (turns out ramen is more expensive near colleges... or at least near my college) or wait it out. My friend who has it has been boasting about it.

I also remember getting the 3DS at launch because of Zelda OoT only for the price to be lowered a few months later making me annoyed that I could've gotten it cheaper... I was happy that they gave me a free Zelda game though because I bought it before the price drop.

This video has helped me have the resolve to eat a healthier diet and wait for any changes Nintendo may make to the switch inbetween now and when I can't stand it anymore and give into the Zelda game that is calling my name every waking second... I'm serious Nintendo, if you want to sell consoles just come up with more good Zelda games.

I think the desision to go cartridge was that it was more portability. a disc drive would have increased the size the of switch by quite a bit even if thay had used smaller disc like the nintendo gamecube.

Fuck retailers, just go digital. . .oh wait, 32 gigs of storage. . .right. . .

Huh, the digital pricing thing seems... dumb. I still don't know why physical copies don't simply cost a few extra bucks by default, and never has it been more of an obvious issue than now. Don't get me wrong, I like my games physical, and would be willing to pay, but even I can see how silly this is.
