This sucks! I was really looking forward to Scalebound and I'm kinda pissed that Microsoft canned it. Bright side for Platinum though is that Nier: Automata looks like it will be amazing, plus Nintendo has already saved one Platinum franchise(Bayonetta), maybe they can save Scalebound too.
Damn that sucks. I was looking forward to it.
Stupid move by Microsoft in my opinion they already have so few exclusive this year, why make the list even shorter. Scalebound was the only one I was interested in for this coming fall. SoD was ok but the big part of it's sequel is shifting to play with friends and if it doesn't do that well or even at all we've just got a SoD remastered at best. Unfortunately none of my friends are interested in SoD2 anyway, so if it's just like the first one there's no point in playing it , because itd be the same thing as SoD. At least Scalebound would have provided different things to do even if it was meant to be played with other people as well. Wouldn't be surprised if Sony somehow picked this up and added another new and exclusive IP to their list of games for later this year or early next year.
But...But...My dragon Buddy :'(
Noooooooooooo! My dragons and beats.
I was looking forward to this game until it turned out you had to play as Justin Bieber and New Dante's love child with no customization. Cool concept. Terrible protagonist. I honestly don't really care.
-1 Flamebait, right?
This does kind of suck, given that the reason I haven't bought the XBone is mostly due to a complete lack of exclusives. Aside from Halo and Gears, there's not really any reason to buy the console for me. This game wouldn't have changed that on it's own, but it would have added another to the list at least, which has to grow before I am willing to drop a few hundred dollars on a system....
im with Jon, that game looked like shit, but that's just like my opinion, man, just throwing it in the void.
anyone else think Jon seems a lil drunk in this video?
this is why Xbox is being out sold by PS because of stupid moves like this. they are sabotaging themselves. it seems like they are pulling away from the gaming entertainment that they use to pride themselves on.
tbh if the game wasn't coming together right then microsoft was right to cancel it. people forget this is business and microsoft pay though the nose for development teams to work on exclusives. if someone was building a house for you and some of the walls didn't quite line up with others and the roof kinda sagged would you keep paying them because its the nice thing to do ? or would you give that same cash to they guy down the road building a waaaay nicer house?
And as far as the no xbox exclusives, who cares? games are for everyone to enjoy not to build some bullshit brand loyalty. Microsoft and Sony just want you money so why fight over who is best.
