Nintendo Switch Shortage is APPLE'S FAULT?

Of course this is Nintendo's fault.  The whole idea behind pre-orders is tell them how many units to manufacture initially and annually thereafter.  The fact that they limited pre-orders in the first place proves that they were trying to generate some level of undersupply.  Now having said that I think that they grossly misjudged the demand that they themselves generated for the Switch and never anticipated the shortages would ever be this drastic. 

As frustrating as it is, surely they just didn't want to overproduce and there be little demand. Based on what we've seen from them before this probably was just conservative numbers being forecast to prevent the opposite, consoles on store shelves, from happening. Good on Nintendo for making a high-demand product, which people seem to truly enjoy. Hopefully all works well for them, I'd hate to see them have a bad holiday season or lose fan enthusiasm.
