YouTube Calls Out Nintendo

Bit misleading to label one youtube employee (even though he is an exec/department head) making a statement as "youtube" making a statement. I understand the point you are making but it's a bit too fox news / cnn spin for my personal taste. 

I'm not particularly concerned about how Nintendo handles video monitization by their players. They're not preventing people from making videos with their games, they're preventing people from monotizing videos of their games. That's their call. 

They have a different approach to video gaming in general, and for better or for worse, that kind of thinking is what makes them Nintendo. If that ends up up being their downfall, so be it, but right now, it seems to be serving the pretty well.
