Destiny 2 PC Aim Assist Controversy

Interesting. I just started using a mouse and keyboard and my aim was great! I haven't messed with the settings too much so hopefully I'm not accidentally using aim assist.

played Destiny 2 multiplayer on PC and didnt notice aim assist but did notice camera locking up and not being able to turn left and right for a few seconds.

Easy fix. Get rid of aim-assist. I play TF2 on a PC using an XB controller all the time and do just fine. Most people would call it a disadvantage, but I like it and have learned to work well with it even in a PC evironment. People who like controlers either need to switch or just git gud.

I was having a bunch of problems with kb/m (cause I don't play PC for the most part) so I plugged in my controller. The aim assist is pretty heavy and I was at the top of the leaderboard (not quite surprising, but still unexpected) so I'd say that it could be nerfed a lot. I don't mind playing with less aim assist on controller cause my play style doesn't rely so much on aiming long distances as much as constant movement. However, I would like some since it's harder to hit those shots at long range when I'm always strafing or jumping (yes, I do Halo-Hop). But the reason I use controller is because it's harder to use my left hand for everything since I've been splitting the workload between both hands on a controller. I have a gaming mouse tho so I'm trying to learn. It's just awkward to use my fingers instead of my thumb for movement so that's my biggest adjustment right now.

PS I believe the device is Cross Input Mapper (XIM) so ex-eye-em wouldn't be wrong. However, it's the gif/jif argument.

There still a great amount of time to tweak and fix Destiny 2, it is great to hear things are being found so that they Can be fixed, plus, the PC beta is is what it is, A Beta, a work in progress, Console release is in 6 days, but the PC release isnt until october 24th, so people need to cool their jets, and just enjoy the great game Destiny 2 is going to be

Jesus I haven't seen The Know being this salty over people complaining about legit things.  And you call them the "gwumpy guardians".  Get a life and learn to respect your audience.
