i am enjoying it, so far i haven't dealt with any of the stated glitches and bugs yet, the environments and aliens look amazing but it looks like they only spent a day on the humans and animation. oddly enough i keep getting massive frame rate drops during conversation but when I'm running around while everything is exploding, no drop. though i am curious about what kind of fixes will be in the launch day patch, haven't played multiplayer and i don't have any pc friends so hit me up if you want to try it out
It seems like the worst possible time to release a game alongside many other, apparently better, open world games. If they knew there were bugs in this game and this launch window was already saturated why didn't they delay it?
From playing the origin access beta, I hate the animations, writing but I love the story and some of the characters. I wanted a new Mass Effect game and I got one but only time will tell if I'm going to be truly satisfied with this new world
Glad I didn't get Mass Effect Andromeda.
You know, I'm actually satisfied with the reviews this game is getting. Really all I want is "more Mass Effect," I don't really need it to top the previous games. The most exciting thing to me is the multiplayer, which sounds perfect to me, and the single player is a nice bonus of good Bioware writing to enjoy.
Ashley I need you back with The Patch 2.0, you're my barometer to buy or not to buy games.
so this games is getting bashed for no running perfect, but the new Zelda runs like a slide show at times and no one cares. Critic's logic
I feel like people are judging to harshly, like they want it to be bad. All open world games have the same side quests, even Witcher 3 had fetch quests and so far the animations are totally fine i think. The faces are a bit rough but the dialog isn't any worse than the previous Mass Effect games. It's like people and especially the critics had there expectations set way way to high and are now mad because it's a game.
I am really hoping for and rooting for Mass Effect: Andromeda. I am still hesitant to buy until a patch or two is released.
Disagree with the 'just okay' verdict a little bit. The vibe I've been getting is more 'love it or hate it'.
Doesn't change anything for me. Nowadays patches come out every few weeks and by this time next year the launch version will be a distant memory. I'm still going to get i, I'm just going to wait until they announce the first major patch.
