I want to be able to plant a tree and watch it grow as the game progresses. I want the rude, wisecracking, obscene gargoyles. I want the demon doors. I want hobbes, balverines, trolls, bandits, beetles, wasps, nymphs. I want Theresa. I want a dog. I want Lady Grey. I want to be able to buy everything. I want to be able to steal everything. I want to be able to manage and improve property. I want silver keys. I want time stop, barrier, fireball, lightning bolt, heal. I want pub games and professions. I want exploits to make obscene amounts of gold in a very short time. I want the master chief armor. I want an energy sword. I want to be able to dual wield swords, katanas, axes, maces, daggers, daggers. I want to be able to dual wield guns. I want trophies. I want boasts. I want a morality system with even more detail. Tattoos, haircuts, makeup, special armor and weapons. I want everything that made the first two games so much fun, but better. As one of my aikido instructors was fond of saying, "Same, same, do better."
What I REALLY want is a little more freedom in how to resolve quests. For instance, in Fable Lost Chapters/Anniversary, if you go looking for the proof that Lady Grey killed her sister after you've already married Lady Grey, she'll get very upset with you and destroy the evidence. I would have loved the option to set the evidence on fire for her, and then go kill the dead sister's boyfriend and the nutter in the jail cell who's trying to convince everyone that Lady Grey is a witch. Prove my true love to the lady, get tons of evil points.
