Red Dead Online Economy BROKEN?

Didn't GTA have the same thing where guns and ammo costs more in multiplayer than single player?

Rockstar possibly being blatantly greedy even though EA, Activision/Blizzard and Bethesda have all recently been put up to the firing line for doing similar things... that's a bold move Cotton, lets see if it pays off for them.

Fast travel does not need to be unlocked, stagecoaches are all over the map and just cost a few dollars (there are actually more stagecoach locations in online than there are in single player). The unlock you are talking about that you unlock at rank 65 is a free fast travel system from your camp. You can still ride into Blackwater and fast travel to Saint Denis for a few dollars from a stagecoach even without that.

Good to see y’all picked up on this. The economy just needs tweaked a bit, online is good overall.

i only played for a hour of so and got my gang hideout snipped off me

So i'll just say this, would you rather this, or them lying to you and making it not feel grindy until they launch Real money currency.

I have only played for about 30 minutes or so today (first friday). I have noticed that golden bars are hard to get, but the real currency (and ammo) is easy to get, especially if you do loot bandits. The missions even though does not give a lot of money, are really quick so you can do many in a few minutes.

I just want to play poker...

I've been hoarding Heron feathers and it's not a bad way to earn money

Fishing! Got 40 bucks for about 10 minutes

Weapons will fire while dirty and melee kills could have been viable but gang hideouts are set up for you to fail most stealth attempts.
