Is Bethesda Trying To Temper Fallout 76 Expectations?

@prisoner541 I think the worry is that it might end up like ESO where its beta and launch were terrible and got better later but I have faith 76 will do well.

@OniZonda Yet they say that Bethesda hasn't released much footage. That was why I made the comment. They ask if there is lore in the game. The event shows there is as much or more than any other Fallout. Seems a lot like they don't know anything about the game

@sillydebby Well, the bugs that come from bethseda games, the big ones anyway, usually come from odd interactions that the standard QA doesn't pick up and what they don't try that SOMEONE in the fanbase will. So, that's partly why the betas are good, since they get to see what the fans do and if they run into issues, they fix them. Heck, when you get to the big games that are both huge open worlds but also tons of possibilities, the chances for bugs always increases. Fortunately, and this is partly why bethseda has so much good faith is that while they're known for bugs, they're also known for fixing the issues relatively quickly.

@Poglife0612 That's an interesting outlook on it. YOU had to work during their scheduled time to keep the beta up before taking it back down to fix it and you're blaming them? Maybe next time try writing a letter to them before hand and I'm sure they'd love to schedule it around specifically you, when the majority of the players work normal day shift hours.

@Antimattergizmo Most of their things were answered before this video was produced. Seriously, oxhorn, as one example, had the answers to almost all of this a week and two weeks ago, as one of several people that got that sneak peak. As usual, 'the know' doesn't actually bother trying to do any basic research, latches on to one or two sensational things and then blows things way out of proportion for the sake of trying to seem relevant.

@xbox.WOLFO.S5E1My friend and I played the beta and we very rarely encountered people! The only time we engaged in pvp was when a player became wanted because he randomly killed somebody.
