Bad joke, sorry
I've been playing this game with keyboard and mouse for almost 2 months now and I can get to the first boss without even concentrating on the game... you just need to get a hang of the control and go with the flow.
One thing to note, you can break the door in the collector's room if you want to bank cells for the blacksmith. I would strongly suggest doing this before the first boss as a rank 1+ weapon is about as strong as a rank 4.
The game says Keyboard and Mouse is not recommended, but you can do so if you don't have a controller. I personally started out on K+M and it's fine. Deploying gadgets while running in the same direction is a little tricky but other than that it's great. I played using controller for the first time yesterday and can see how it's better, but not having your finger resting on "dodge" constantly is a bit weird to get used to. It's like you can attack or dodge but not both at the same time (unless you play with a "claw" grip). Overall GREAT game and a very nice "turn your brain off" game once you get used to it.
These reviews are pretty useful to pick up on some of the unique traits of the games. Especially with the last two as I all these platformer roguelike games just look the same to me from screenshots.
