Square Enix's Major Meltdown!

@Rendr44 Another bad thing is that so much bad news will undoubtedly hurt stocks which will further hurt the company.

@axmillerDid someone have a guilty conscience or something? They're really taking that transparency with the people to another level though.

@Ouroboros6134 i wouldnt say final fantasy is failing at all, they just didnt feel the DLCs would do as well as they want, which makes sense since the gap between the original games release and these DLCs has gotten pretty big. if they went to make a new final fantasy game it would likely do very well, just as 15 did, so the franchise itself is pretty safe and not failing in the least.

@Ryu416 i think the reason they called it a meltdown is due to the fact that they did an entire live stream for this information more than anything else. also while other companies may have lost more money in some instances, they are typically a bit bigger companies, and it all depends where those loses come from. not sure where square enix lost all their money but in the case of activision and blizzard, their loses were in stocks, not things like actual money in the bank, nor lost assets, combined they are also a far bigger company than square enix, and so they have a lot more room to be able to lose money.
