i mean... xbox might just be a polished version of a steam box? like, what if they just built a living room friendly pre built gaming PC... the lines are kinda bluring to me.
@VelocitiYRaptor I think the line's been blurred for a while at this point. Kinda feels like Microsoft and Sony - albeit to a lesser extent - are cherry-picking the best bits from console and PC, and I'm all for it. I just really hope that Xbox supports the Play Anywhere platform more in the coming years; I'm not looking to get a One X (that involves an expensive console and very expensive TV), so having major titles like Forza and Crackdown on the PC platform gets me salivating just at the thought. It's got its snags, I'll admit; I play Forza Horizon 3 on the PC through Play Anywhere, and after a while it feels like it's bogging my entire system down and I get short freezes and soft locks even though my system is more than capable of running heftier games without these same set-backs, but it's allowed me to play games I've been missing all these years.
I have to say I dislike the news that Microsoft is buying more studies given it shut down a bunch of its studios not long ago... what is it doing to them?!? Sucking out heir life juices to keep itself fresh and alive?!? Bah!
KBM support is a great addition. It bridges the gap between PC and consoles, and Microsoft owns Windows so it's win-win for them if people start swapping over to PC gaming.
