New boards for Super Mario Party?

It would be cool if they gave Pokémon DLC.

nintendo always has done pretty good DLC, the Mario kart one was two whole courses,8 track, and two new racers for like I wanna say 8 buck and then you could both dlc for like 13 total, plus with them releasing Mario oddessy costumes for free they have to put in work to actually have consumers paying for DLC

Nintendo knows how to do proper DLC. They don't hide half their game behind day 1 pay walls.

I was just thinking I would take any excuse to replay all of Breath of the Wild. I was a bit disappointed you have to beat most of the game and the DLC to get the zero cycle and NG+ is a hassle early on to just replay the same game. I just need some more content since I did all of the interesting side quests and don't care about getting Korok poop. Just throw an Island Temple in there for a new armor set or something and I'd pay another 20$. Would be cool to get more Animal Crossing type house stuff too, add some decorating, maybe so farming simulator stuff, just an excuse to keep going back and doing small adventures.

I just want my 30 hearts and full stamina in Breath of the Wild 😣

More Blades for XC2 please and thank you

It's a shame more people don't don't know about Xenoblade chronicles 2. They just finished rolling out the final piece of their DLC this September, and it's probably the most well done DLC line-up I've ever seen. It's my new standard for being impressed by DLC. The new story content they released on top of all the extra main game stuff (new playable side characters, new side quests, a robust challenge battle mode, and more) is rock solid. It has new areas, new music, new mechanics (including a major change to the combat system), and a lot of really great exploration of core characters from the main story. The DLC is set 500 years prior during the events that initiated the main game's plot which allows it to explore interesting cannon events without being restricted by the resolution of the main plot at the end of the main game. Overall, that game is a great example of the good that DLC can offer if it's done with care and good intention. It strikes a very appealing balance between creating new content and building on existing assets (exactly the kind of DLC I'd want Nintendo to strive for)

I am already willing to pay for Super Mario Party DLC as long as there are more Party boards. As always with Nintendo I assume that they WON'T give me what I want :(

So far, Nintendo has yet to display any ill intentions with their DLC. They've made some mistakes (like locking a Metroid difficulty mode behind an amiibo, and I didn't quite care for the way some classes in FE:Echos didn't get 3rd tiers without DLC while others did), but in general, I've gotten the feeling that they make whole games first, and add DLC afterwards. Even when it comes to their crappy online audio communications shinanigans, I don't think any of the decisions that went behind it had to do with techinical limitations or techinical understanding; they were likely made with social concerns for children (I don't think the result was acceptable, but I can at least appreciate the presumed motivation behind it). So, for now, I don't think Nintendo's going to "the Dark side" or anything like that with over-monitization. I'm glad to see them finding success with the Switch while still maintaining their Nintendo way of doing things.

I kind of hope they add new characters to Mario Party, maybe go the Mario Kart route and add in Link or Samus along with boards for them.
