Samurai is related to the Johnny Silverhand guy they mention in the demo, seems he's a musician. In the character creator it says "Samurai rockerboy: Johnny Silverhand." Samurai might be an album he releases, or just the term for rockers in cyberpunk world.

I have a feeling there's hidden lore/story in the character creator. For instance, under the man and woman in the gender select, is a number of hits counter. Sort of as if the creator is actually a search function for the government. Maybe someone is filling out your profile in order to hunt you down?
