The full 20 game lineup for Sony's PlayStation Classic was announced today, and Brian and Ben share their thoughts on what Sony got right, where they missed, and the possible reasons why.
nah, not interested. Even up-resed, the 3D will suck (same goes for N64), the controller's not great, and yeah, the game selection leaves much to be desired. If I could use a PS4 controller with it, and it had a physical port that let you plug in and play different games (an absurd idea, I know), I'd consider it.
I can't believe he hadn't ever heard of Cool Boarders. It was snowboarding's answer to Tony Hawk.
In all seriousness, This is not a good collection of games for the PS1. The choices on here are really odd. I agree that an RPG collection would sell like mad, but even without any RPGs there should have been enough classic games to choose from. At least I can save my hundred bucks.
Looking it the list. yeah almost all the games are at least decent and worth playing but best of? No, just no. I understand that they would never do a "RPG" edition as that limits sale but even with the little bit of every type to try and maximize, some of the choices are just odd. Sport game: Cool Boarder. Really? Racing Game: Twisted Metal, sure, Ridge Races 4, huh?, Destruction Derby, what? Fighters: Battle Arena, why?, SSF2 Turbo, sounds great, Tekken 3, sounds great but then why not Twisted 2?. Puzzle games: IQ, oookkaayy, and Mr. Driller??, ummmmm....... The rest are fine and so debate can be made but the Japanese Edition exclusives are all better than about half of the ones on here. Definitely gone from a "interested" to a "see it at a yard sale for $20".
