Apple Rejects The Binding of Isaac Over "Child Abuse"

SO basically Apple is awful? But I have an iPhone, so I guess I'm part of the problem. yaaayy

At this point, Apple would surprise me more if they didn't make asinine decisions.

Gaming on a phone usually isn't worth the trouble anyway, with few exceptions.

To play devil's advocate, apps have much higher download numbers than anything else. Games or not, I could see why apple would want to police them more. I'd assume that the number of submissions is insane, so changing the review structure would require changing a process used by potentially hundreds of employees. Also movies already have a rating and the more mature books aren't being downloaded by kids. Not saying it's the right way of doing it, but I get it.

First thing I spotted in that picture was Marvel's Civil War.

Let's not forget that Apple owns the app store and can do whatever they please with it. Like it or not, if they feel this game doesn't fit with the public image they want to present, then it makes sense for them to remove it. This has nothing to do with whether they consider it art or not, it's just business.

Technically based on how Apple has stated their policy they can be sued for rejecting a game with the Supreme Court ruling games protected under the 1st Amendment. It can be viewed as unconstitutional.

In other news, a popular book called "The Holy Bible" was rejected from the iBooks store for similar reasons...
