I'm confused why anyone would buy an Xbox One now. Seems better to keep saving your money till the Scorpio comes out and see what thats like
or if you in my boat, and said sayonara to the microsoft consoles altogether, and got the wii-u, and PS4, and PS3, because thats where the fun seems to be now.
You want to know why they are cutting the price down? It's because I still haven't bought one. And I'm still unsure about buying one even though it's cheaper than ever. Which means I'm probably not the only one in this situation. They want us to buy it, but other than being cheaper, there are not a lot of reasons for me to buy it. It doesn't have enough games/exclusives that I want to play. And the exclusives that they have still have problems in my opinion (yes, I'm still mad about Halo 5 not having split-screen).
Also, I'm not a fan of windows 10 which is pretty much what the Xbox OS is. And I worked with Xbox Ones at my job and they kinda suck to use in general.
Yeah honestly Microsoft has kinda made it where there is no reason for me to buy an Xbox of any kind. As long as they put everything on PC I'm good. 250$ could go towards food and games and rent at that point. Microsoft has to do something absolutely stunning to get me into this current console cycle.
My XBOX 360 died a few months before the XBOX One was released. I held off for it and... it wasn't great.
The Kinect is only really useful for auto-sign in & Netflix (you can live without it just fine), and the early games were both expensive & really disappointing - you'd spend £50 on something like Titanfall, have to wait for a huge day-one patch to download, then play through it in an hour, then it'd cost you about the same again later for DLC. At the time you couldn't play XBOX 360 games on it to make up the shortfall.
In the end I flogged off said XBox One & just bought a cut-price replacement 360 so I could still play my old games. For new ones, I've built a PC gaming rig & bought a Steam Link because imho the cost of console gaming these days is probably not far off, and I can do without the disappointment.
Don't get me wrong, I fuckin' love Adam, but is anyone else still slightly disconcerted by Ashley's usual co-host going from multi-colour pixie to bearded man-bear?
they're messing up bad
I got the Xbox One for Christmas the year it came out. I'm a huge Xbox guy, I've always been a user of the console and while others were upset with the One, I actually enjoyed it. That being said, lately I've been looking into a PS4 for two reasons, A. I feel like it's just better hardware wise, and B. It has more exclusives that interest me than Xbox (Which only has Halo that I play). So, Microsoft needs to not only move consoles, but more exclusives, if it's hoping to keep it's fan base.
If you plan on using wi-fi instead of internet make sure you are close to your modem or able to use ethernet instead because mine has issues connecting to internet over wi-fi everyday, that being said I got mine for Christmas the year it came out as well.
Can we start calling it the Xbox 180 yet?
