Uncharted Stole Art From Assassin's Creed

It could have been a easter egg in game, but that's likely wishful thinking on my part.

I think it was probably a placeholder that was forgotten. As for assets beings stolen, one thing to keep in mind is that studios will buy 3D assets from independent artists on sites such as TurboSquid. That way they save time on background items rather than modeling it from scratch. So, you might see the same items in different games from different developers; doesn't necessarily mean they were stolen. I bought a few items when I worked in military simulations to save time and meet deadlines.

I just noticed that they have a link dump on these news videos. I figured that was podcast exclusive.

I'm really liking the way they're heading with The Know.

If the painting has some sort of significance then I can understand, but if it's just a painting on a wall that most people would ignore anyways, what's the big deal? I mean I guess the phrase slippery slope comes into play sure, but I don't see why it's worth trying to start a twitter war over.

the flubs are strong with Meg. Ryan has been teaching his apprentice well. I want to think this was an honest mistake by ND its hard to believe that when they removed a character from the artwork. while removing the dude they had to have known it wasn't one of their pieces. That's what I'm thinking at least. either way I don't think this is going to really affect the game in the long run but who knows we might get an AC easter egg in the game after this.
