Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Holds Modern Warfare HOSTAGE!

This seems like simply an effort to phase out the physical market completely. Personally I prefer disks over digital since I don't have top tier internet and I don't trust download-only either way.

Not surprised.  They want to keep all their money in their pocket and none for anybody else.

Modern Warfare was a great game, but I have moved on from it.  Not mention I just got in Smite and that will eat up my free time.  So this won't really affect me.

Wonder if a lawsuit  will happen with misleading customers.  With modern warfare being a "stand alone game", sorta.  

I know several people who just paid $80 for Modern Warfare Remastered. It is not that worth it. Hopefully, Activision will grow some balls and release digital only release of it some time in 2017. Unlikely, but it is a fair hope of mine. 

Also that Treyarch releases a Zombies only game. A man can dream.

i really would love to play mw remastere. but no way am i going to pay $80 for it though. i can go on steam and buy it for $20 if i want to play the campaign that badly or just get out my 360. yea the remastered may look really nice but no way is it worth $80 just to replay it

There's a very simple solution for all of those who want to play Modern Warfare Remastered without having to shell out for Infinite Warfare - buy the damn original!

I really only buy call of duty for the campaign, because the multiplayer is all so similar, good but not the main reason I buy

Or I can re-install the game on my pc, mod it with HD textures, and play on loads of custom maps...

I'm just gonna hold out tell Activision says.....aww shit were screwed, we have lost so much possible money on this...Lets just release MW for $30...Then I go...ha, gotcha
