Next Season
I don't understand how mods not working properly on PS4 means the end of mods on consoles, that just means that it will take sometime to implement properly. As for the Xbox side, while a huge problem, I think that it is still early in the mods for console era, so Bethesda is still trying different system to work to keep mods from being stolen, and it will only be a matter of time before they find a way to do so.
Sometimes you just can't code your way out of shitty hardware.
@micahgtb By that comment I'm guessing your calling the PS4 shitty? Because while I don't own one and likely never will, it has received high praise from the a lot of people. As for the Xbox One, which I do own, the only problem doesn't seem to be the hardware but the system implemented to keep mods from being stolen. So far I'm running about 20 mods in Fallout 4, and while I will admit to having the ocasional crash for the game when I first start it up or install a new mod. Whenever I try it again, the mod works as intended and it doesn't cause any problems during gameplay, that even includes some mods that say they don't know how it will work on the Xbox.
I like that one of the major selling points is relying on PC modders to work and upload on other platforms out of the goodness of their hearts.
They said this was going to happen at launch. It's been over a year since they announced this, and still nothing. Good luck getting me to buy Skyrim if you can't make mods work.
Yeah and xbox is also now the biggest mod consumers, more modders are going to want to put their content on consoles because the audience is there. PC modders tend to fad away to other games that have mods but since Fallout is the only game with mods the download rate on the mods is crazy high. Also the there was a very small group of PC elitist militant bullshit spreading some bullshit propaganda on Nexus forums and all kinds of shit basically starting some bullshit argument against consoles aimed towards some of the content creators, one of the admins from Nexus wrote a very lengthy forum post about how ridiculous the whole thing is and how this is not a new occurrence of mod theft as well as calling out bethesda for not preparing the console community better with more marketing and sharing on how it was going to work.

Ryan saying rim job them skyrum reminded me of Fez saying United States of America then Amedica for just America solo.
Back to the topic. I'm honestly surprised it was the xbox players being dicks and not vice versa and I'm a PC gamer. I thought PC gamers would try to brick xboxs from the get go. I didn't think pc modders would intentionally want to mod for consoles cuz usually we don't like to share what he have. I didn't expect Xbox gamers to try and steal others mods. When it comes to Sony their whole system sounds confusing.
This happened with skyrim to a lesser extent. I don't know why people are blaming consoles when they should be blaming bethesda for not properly moderating.
