Overwatch Players Banned FOREVER?

hackers and cheaters complaining about being banned is fucking hilarious and they blame everyone but themselves

This is the best thing i have heard about banning in awhile. i want more companies to take this hard of a stance. It is quite funny people are getting upset about being banned for cheating saying that its unfair......sort of like how its unfair to be cheating in a game.....

Absolutely hilarious to me to read people complain about getting banned for hacks/cheats. Also, yes, RT does have a Thor Ban Hammer, I remember seeing it at RTX when I was a volunteer and one of the staff almost killed a table with it as it was metal

I'm so happy to see an effective response to hacks and cheats in games. I really hope this becomes the standard for more games.

As long as I don't get banned (from being the small legit group that did get banned by mistake) I'm happy with what they are doing. If you have to cheat to win... well I feel bad for you, it is like buying a Hummer H1 to compensate instead of going off road like it was meant to do. Just like how hacking the game in a local offline game can make the game more fun with "low gravity" and "full time high speed."

Keep the hacks offline, and only use the Hummer H1 to off road.

Yeah I give no shits about the pains and money lost by cheaters. They can suffer, Overwatch will be the better for it.

every game company should talk to them and find out how there doing this. also this makes me want to buy the game and give it a try.

Complaining about the fact that you are actually permabanned is like complaining that you got caught robbing a store. You have no one to blame but yourself. Consequences. Your anonymity on the internet can only go so far.

So glad Blizzard is taking this seriously, no sympathy for cheating in a game like Overwatch where Blizzard put a LOT of effort into balancing everything
