Nice shirt Ashley.
Wow. I guess government policies are a reflection of our fears. People fear what they don't understand.
Is that why I fear women?
Suddenly really glad I don't live in Russia... Well, not 'suddenly' I suppose.
Didn't know the country tied it's religious stuff to it's law and politics so strongly. (Because that always goes so well >_> )
Besides, every church is a pokestop where I live atleast. What else are you meant to do there besides catching Pokemon?
Exactly! Russia is not Iran, and yet they behave so similar and stupid. I am sure glad I am not living there anymore :)
Not shocked that this happened. Not even the slightest.
both of you wearing the Grey shirts makes you look like twins... besides the fact that you look nothing alike... but its still cute.
I feel like the charges against him mocking religion are just an excuse to punish him for mocking the the state's stupid rules. Also it's very strange hearing about a modern developed nation not having freedom of speech. Honestly it's kind of scary the Russia is still a hot mess.
A fairly large number of devulopted nations don't allow the level of freedom of speech that America has. I mean the Brittish government can censore the press after all.
Also in Canada there are anti-hate speech laws that prohibit from speaking publicly against religion, race, gender, etc.. in order to entice hatred towards such a group. Freedom of speech isn't something to take lightly as many do.
Also, while I semi agree with this being a trumped up arrest for him mocking the law that doesn't mean you should still go out and break the law (especially on video). I mean what if the law was that you couldn't play pokemon go on federal ground in the US and someone were to decide to break that law and try to enter a guarded military base to do so? Its more or less the same here... for that matter all churches are private property and you shouldn't enter them without reason to be there in the first place.
I coudn't stop laughing at the Jesus joke.
Wait, wait, wait....If disregarding Human Dignity is a crime, can we arrest...Trump!?
Hopefully pokestop will move away from churches.
I cannot be the only one who feels weird that pokestop are at churches. Seeing how one usually bashes the other.
In reality most churches don't give a fuck. A lot of them are even pretty open to it, I've seen more than a few trying to use the popularity to get more people to come to church (nice try church). Most of the crazy religous stuff you hear is just a vocal minorty.
While I do think this seems like a trumped up arrest, I can't say I'm on the vlogger's side either. Not only was he actively trying to test the law (while filming himself doing it), but apparently he was also being disrespectful to the churchgoers on top of it.
i feel like its a bit shitty of him to go to a church to play pokemon go & make a video about it. its like hes advertising 'here i am come and arrest me'.
also, about the suicide spot thing, maybe it will stop suicides if people are there catching pokemon a lot? idk

In all honesty, Russian police went WAY overboard in their reaction to what Sokolovsky did, but in all honesty...why would you think that doing what Sokolovsky did was a remotely good idea? Just sheer stupidity all around if you ask me.
