Love what Jon said about having a steam account. It made me laugh.
Glad I didn't get an Xbox One.
With the PC ports being bad and Microsoft possibly ditching the consoles, will developers have to deal with the UWP? UWP was a reason why some games never came out and why some 1st party game studios closed, supposeably.
Jon Risinger vs. Greg Miller news read next time he's in town.
I hope they wrestle. Shirtless.
I was all like YEAH!
Then I was like wait wut
Love how I can see Jon and Ashley around the edges when the B-Roll is up on the screen
I hate this idea. I like the way consoles work now, it's a level of stability that PCs can never really compete with. At least if this is the same thing that came up a few months ago where it'd basically be consoles that are upgradable. On a lighter note, Jon finally gets his role on the Know. Good for you.
If your PC isn't competing with a console you're building your PC incorrectly. lmao.
@matt_lech The point I tried to make is that building and keeping a pc upgraded is a waste of time to me when the consoles are consistent.
@DarkTempler7 I can see it as that way for some. But for most PC gaming isn't just about the gaming. Its about the customization and the building process. Its also about the sense of accomplishment you get when you take a bunch of parts put it together and it runs. That's part of the fun of being a PC gamer. Or at least for me. I get its not for everyone. I don't understand why everyone assumes PC gaming is right for everyone. PC gaming is better just because of how open it is but not everyone wants to be able to do everything. They just want somethings.
@GreyGhost9036 I get what you're saying. But like you said, it's not for everyone. I personally like that they consoles just always work without needing to pout so much effort into building it. And it doesn't help that the current generation of consoles adopted what I consider to be the worst aspects of PC gaming, such as installing games to the machine. And I do think that the consitancy that consoles have make them, for people who value that, better then PC.
maybe scorpio is modular. Old GPU is trash so throw in a new one. at that point its like a PC but all controlled by Microsoft. It would be like the N64 and the add on thing you had to get to play Majoras Mask.
Funny... Isn't the only non Microsoft brand hard drive that is compatible with Xbox a Western Digital Scorpio?
My PC sucks. That's why I rely on consoles. Plus I don't have enough money to buy "parts".
I theorize that Microsoft is telling the truth by use of semantics, I believe that they are not completely ditching consoles but are actually coming up with something completely new, I don't know what, but this whole "last console" thing doesn't make much sense. As a business, they are making tons of money by creating new hardware, not as much as Sony, but still. So ditching the console scene would drop profit by a large amount, not many businesses will just drop a whole section in their company unless they are being diverted to something more important. Like something completely new to the market?

I was scared for a second, but then I was like, oh this is good news?
