Xbox One with updated wifi chip, and Xbox One Slim also with updated chip.
I really don't care about them upgrading their consoles (Sony, Xbox) The only way I would be interested is if they actually made them run at 60fps. By upscaling to 4k I'm willing to bet that they will still run at 30, unless they start charging a thousand bucks for ps4.5 :P
i was wondering if it could it be an update to add Bluetooth to the console. They've already said keyboard and mouse will eventually work, and this would allow wireless connection via Bluetooth for KB/M. Also maybe support for 802.11 ac WiFi
A completely new wireless chip could also be a Microsoft VR system that wirelessly connects to the potential new console. Just sayin' if PlayStation is doing VR, XBox will jump on the market too.
Just a thought this could be a transfer to compete with a bigger hard drive and vr capability. When E3 shows they will try to announce it all or just hold off and have a stand alone Press conference.
VR capability would be pretty sweet. It also makes sense to update the manual to include it.
it would make it easier to start it up with a new console and updated manual. VR or something similar to VR will happen for the ONE.
Nothing wrong with any of that but I'm sure since they also said no more price drops something is going to happen before July or at least late August.
This could be the Xbox that you'll be able to upgrade that was talked about a few months back. The xbox to end all xbox generations
Watch the 1682 filing be a wireless headset. I would actually gladly welcome that. Also, an all digital console would be nice for the 1683 filing, as long as it has 2(ish) or more terabytes of space. I have the 500gb and it's full already. I have like 6-7 games and everything else is stored on an external drive. I have 1 game that's physical and everything else is digital so that probably doesn't help much.
On to the other topic, the Xbox One is able to output at 4K, but I think that's mostly just for video. Not sure if a game could be upscaled to it, or if it would even look/run all that great since the console is sorta chugging to push 1080p60. The PS4K is supposed to be able to output a resolution that large without any real hindrances so that'll be nice to see. What sucks for me is I just got both this last holiday and now they're coming out with better versions.
Unrelated: Meg looks amazing A++ outfit & necklace
Related: I am kinda over minor changes to consoles that just make you spend more money without valid changes... VR compatibility or upgradeable would be ideal changes though
Why do people feel like video game news is about how the people presenting it look? Yes. Meg and Ashley are attractive people. That's not why we're here.
@DavidtheWavid why are you harping on someone for paying someone else a compliment?
With it being a new wireless chip the first thought that came to mind for me was a xbox/windows 10 version of a steam link.
Remember when they said they weren't working on Halo 2 Anniversary but they were still working on The Master Chief Collection? I think it's the same thing. "Oh, it's not the Xbox 1.5. It's the Xbox One-525"
I didn't think this news story was all that great. I don't care for speculation and rumours, I'd rather just wait for Microsoft to tell us what new hardware they're putting out, when they're ready.
So will it be the Xbox Two?
