Well at least strategy guides still make guides...
Seriously though anyone else miss when Achievement Hunter actually made achievement guides on a (somewhat) regular basis?
I am actually a little worried about game stop shuting down. I still perfer physical over digital. If game stop closes than ill have to go to some no named hipster join and have to deal with hister assholes who only play physical because they are hispter fucking assholes! Plus the physical proce seems to drop much faster than digital, but never as low.
Maybe don't draw attention to grammatical errors in the script? Your not just having a go at the writer, you are highlighting the fact that it wasn't identified by the editor or the presenters before recording...
It is cool to hear about others working at Roosterteeth though, like how Mariel is now a fundamental part of Free Play or how the animators are getting involved on the RT Anime podcast.
I don't think Meg knows that RT sells slap bracelets in their store.
I had something really long I wanted to say, but it's pointless. GameStop is a functioning business model because people still go there. Hate them all you want, you're not changing anything with what you say. It's your wallet that determines what you support, not your words.
As an actual gamestop employee; yes I know you most likely don't want the strategy guide, but we have to ask. It's one of the ways the company makes profit, and if we don't ask, we can get in trouble. We have to at least mention pre orders, strategy guides, warranties, etc because from a management point of view, the more people we ask, the more chance someone will buy. Trust me, I hate pushing some stuff on to people, but it's my job.
I am never going to blame the person behind the counter for something they are instructed to do by management. The problem I see in this strategy is the more you're instructed to push stuff onto the customers, the more likely you are in pushing that customer away.
One thing I have noticed about all Gamestop (EB Games here in Australia) counter staff. None of them actually want to give their customers an up-sale. You can see that they are forced to, and when you simply tell them "no", that you're not interested, they almost never push it any further.
Gamestop's making games! Time to get my resume ready! Sounds super stable hahaha
Water levels are usually the worst levels in 2D side scrollers. Song of the Deep seems to be a game that revolves entirely around water levels. This does not bode well.
From the sound of it, it seems like Gamestop will finally be a game publisher that we won't get pissed off at (Lookin at you, EA, Activision, Square, Ubisoft, WB, etc etc etc). And it does seem like a good way for GS to finally get into digital sales. Although I can't help but wonder if this is just a desperate attempt to stay alive and if Song of the Deep (which does look like it has promise) fails then GS will go the way of Radioshack
the ending was really funny thanks Ryan.
Well I feel personally attacked XP
