Rockstar Making BIBLE Game?

Bruce Almighty is a great movie. Also Jim hasn't gone the Adam Sandler route. He's actually a really good painter now.

I bet a Rockstar game set in biblical Jerusalem could actually be kinda fun. I mean, given that it could have intrigue, betrayal, civil liberties being crushed by a military force only concerned with preserving its own self-interests, prostitution, and stealing donkeys, it basically GTA 5 all over again. That said, I'd bet that they'll use the name Judas in another setting, where either you are betrayed by a Judas (who would have guessed a guy named Judas is untrustworthy?), or, in a more interesting spin, you play as Judas, who is framed for betrayal.

Seriously though, Palm Sunday starts with Jesus stealing someone's ride. In John he just "finds" a young donkey, and in Mark and Luke he sends two disciples to a town and tells them to look for a colt and take it because "the Lord has need of it." He then proceeds to trash the stalls of a bunch of merchants, probably because they failed to pay their protection money. Jesus was fucking gangster.

I'd say the story of the game just has certain parallels to the story of Judas, I highly doubt they're making a biblical game. And if they registered it now, it may still just be a concept and probably won't see the light of day for 8 years or maybe not at all....you know how Rockstar are.

I say they should go for it. GTA is filled with murder and prostitution, and so is the bible!

As a Christian, I really hope Rockstar is not doing anything Biblical.
