Gears of War 4: IS IT GOOD?

"... as a result of [events] in Gears of War 3"

Never had an interest in GoW, but that statement, combined with the atmospheric visuals leaves me with one question... What the FUCK is going on in that UNIVERSE?!?!

I'm pretty excited to play the game, but I've been a Gears fanboy from day one.  As for the story, it can't be worse than Judgement!

Judgement seemed more like to me supplemental content to the Gear of Wars world.  

But I did enjoy playing the game.

I would like to pick it up, but don't know if I will.

The multiplayer never had just a "lukewarm reception" Gears 3's mp for example is consider one of the best in any game period. If anything it's the opposite with people being meh on the campaign.

I know it's not The Know's style, but I really would have liked to have seen Michael show up in the credits and be like "I'm ready for the Gears of War review read. Oh, I don't get to do that either." and then just shake his head.

well I hope its a way less disappointing then Halo 5 all though them saying there are packs to grind for shit that u can buy for real money just makes me get flashbacks of REQ system and makes me even more worried for how Microsoft is handling there game franchises, seriously the fun of gears is clutching in horde the sexy campaign and unlocking skins to use in multiplayer and horde don't put that behind a 700+hr grind like halo

Times like this make me regret getting a PS4.
