that unreal tournament bot you are talking about didn't really pass the turing test. Its not true artificial intelligence, its programmed intelligence. Yes it was able to trick humans, but many programs have done that already, but thats because its programmed that way. It can't learn or adapt, just repeat patterns. There are other things that are much closer to beating the test and a hell of a lot creepier than a bot in UT

I think *if* we get to a point where the AI can think "instead of walking in an arbitrary direction, I should head back to coordinates X,Y,Z cause that is where my base is", then I'll be really impressed.
