Next Season
I wonder if the take over going through would hurt For Honor. It's an untested concept that didn't get as much press at E3 as it could've with the Shenmue and FF7 remake being on the same event. Also for the Horde Meg.
Death to the horde!
Has anyone noticed a big change in Activision since they gained independence from Vivendi?
Would Vivendi have allowed such a big investment in a new IP like Destiny?
So apart from probably forcing all Ubisoft franchises to be yearly, and probably preventing new IPs, will a Vivendi takeover of Ubisoft really matter?
I don't understand all you have to do is pee whatever it is that's yours and its done... Right?
Hey! Let's kickstart buying a controlling share in EA, Ubisoft, and all the game devs that are more worried about lining their wallets than providing a great game...Who's with me?
They put the Vivendi in vulture capitalism.
So basically Vivendi is the devil? Because it sounds like Vivendi is trying to become Comcast and TimeWarner. Which are basically Satan and Satan number 2 of media.
As for other ways of Ubisoft defending its properties, Could the CEO make another company, secretly "sell" all of Ubisoft's IP's to that new company, then if/when Vivendi takes control, (barring contractual obligations, of course) everyone jumps ship to get hired at the new company that essentially becomes Ubisoft just under a different name?
I don't think that's legal unforunatly
What about a boycott petition? Like if there was a big petition saying that this many people will boycott Ubisoft if Vivendi takes them over, they might pack it in. I mean, that could work, right?
Odd question, but what was the game near the end of the video with all of the armored knights beating the crap out of each other?
For Honor
One of the cool looking games that were shown at the last E3
Cool, thanks. I haven't really been following game releases much lately, so I haven't heard anything about it. Will definitely give it a look now.
