C-3Po's arm is red with the blood of his enemies
Bring on Phasma's story, the Brienne hype is real \o/
It's red because of a droid that sacrificed itself for C-3PO. Apparently he doesn't like talking about it. That's in the Star Wars: The Force Awakens visual dictionary.
It is also explained in the new C-3PO comic.
Everyone wants to know about the red arm but no one ever asks about his silver leg.
http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/entertainthis/2... because no one ever noticed.. Even the photographer! (at least for a while) xD
C-3PO and some other resistance droids survived a crash that killed all the crew on board a space ship that was carrying a stolen First Order droid that had info on the location of kidnapped Admiral Ackbar. The droids set out on a quest to find an emergency signal they picked up and C-3PO loses his arm along the way. After some mediocre action sequences and long bouts of philosophical pondering, the captured droid gave C-3PO the info on Ackbar and sacrificed itself in some acid rain to fix the emergency signal from a crashed TIE fighter so that it would be picked up by the Resistance. C-3PO kept the arm of the droid to replace his missing one as a way to remember the sacrifice of the other droid.
I'm going to be honest, I really hate 3PO as much as most people hate Jar Jar, so if they could avoid putting him in games I'll give it a shot.
Sounds awesome! It will be canon right?
It makes sense that 3P0 would have a new arm, I mean it's been a long time it only makes sense that some crazy stuff probably has happened in the meantime.
The actual mechanics and game play of Titanfall I feel are actually quite good, the problem was is that it lacked any type of context or "real" story mode to get me invested and tell me why I should care about the world. Also, a bit more variety in titans, weapons and skills would have probably helped as well.
