Nice that Square Enix released this information for people to be wary of spoilers. Not so nice that they failed on their promise to avoid that day one patch. Could've been playing this game several weeks ago, before Skyrim Remastered, Pokemon and the plethora of other games coming out just in time for the holidays.
Yeah, I know. It feels like a total waste. With any luck, this just makes the day 1 patch smaller.
DAMN IT ALL PERU! Why did you do that?
Anyways, I wonder how much FF15 will sell. It will have to sell more than 6.7 million copies if it wishes to be something that is the next step in the series. FF13 sold 6.2 million and FF10 sold 6.7 million, so that's going to be hard to beat. ESPECIALLY since both those games were made by Motomu Toriyama and produced by Yoshinori Kitase.
People seem to already be more excited than they were for 13. It's appealing to the broader gaming community for the first time in forever.
Well, we need to see. Sales need to show this, not just say this.
I knew the ending of every Final Fantasy game before I ever played them, with the exception of 13-2 and Type-0 which I found out while playing them. Personally, it's never ruined the experience, though it would've been nice not to know the Aeristh spoiler.
First off....after a decade of development only 40 hours?!? That has to be only the main story quest line. I refuse to believe that's the main story plus all the side quests. No way. Secondly....this sucks and I'm going to work to not have this game spoiled for me but let's make the best of a bad situation. Without any spoilers have they said anything about any major bugs in the game? That's about the only thing I want to know.
If you get a game early, you'd probably want to finish it ASAP before you're caught.
Who, as a full time working person, even has 40 hours to finish a game nowadays? ;) That's plenty and will probably keep me from playing it.
World sucks...Damn

40 hours huh they must have skipped every side quest.
