GameStop to Publish, RUIN GAMES?

I feel like with that last bit about GameStop being an "invisible platform" what they are really trying to say is we are a huge turd of a company and the word gamestop on a retail game is cancer that will pretty much guarantee nobody will buy our crappy indie title. That's just my two cents but I feel like if I were Gamestop I would be looking to explore new avenues of revenue before I went the way of Blockbuster and went out of business because of highly visible shady business practices and just a generally obsolete business model.

I'll be honest, I started watching this and after clap monday, I ended up looking at reddit. Tuned out and came back in at the end at the talk about Brendan Frasier, the guy that Hollywood replaced with The Rock, and who is now being replaced by Chris Pratt as the handsome, muscular, and nice, funny man. 10/10 great video

Working at GameStop I can only say so much but, I do think being a publisher(although a small time publisher) is a step in the right direction. Going back to gaming and not JUST a "toy store game store" hybrid like everyone keeps yelling about is the right move.

If GameStop does this right the company will be around for a long time. If they don't do it right, in short, this physical media company will be in a VERY bad way.

Either way, as long as I got a job and can go home in one peace I'm fine with this move.

doesnt that mean that while they MAY fairly advertise other development releases, they would have the power to swing sales preference by selling their games in their own merchandise bundles so in terms of games sales by unit, their games will be more attractive in terms of value for money?!
